SMSbiotech Receives FDA "Study May Proceed" Notification for First U.S. IND-Cleared Inhaled Stem Cell Therapy in COPD
SMSbiotech said the FDA allowed its IND to proceed for inhaled allogeneic SMS Cells in COPD, the first U.S. IND-cleared inhaled stem cell therapy for the disease, with a Phase 1b trial targeted to begin in Q4 2026.
