Scinai Immunotherapeutics Ltd. (NASDAQ: SCNI) is a Jerusalem-based biopharmaceutical company that combines an immunology research and development arm with a revenue-generating contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), Scinai Biopharma Services. Incorporated in 2003 and formerly known as BiondVax Pharmaceuticals Ltd. until its September 2023 renaming, the company develops VHH-based antibody technology — its IL-17 NanoAb platform targets immune-mediated and inflammatory diseases including psoriasis, and is being advanced with the Max Planck Society and University Medical Center Göttingen toward IND-enabling studies. A second program, PC111, a human monoclonal antibody for pemphigus and for Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis, was developed under option and license arrangements with PinCell S.r.l.; those arrangements expired on August 31, 2026 and the company concluded them without further funding, redirecting that capital to the in-house NanoAb pipeline and to CDMO expansion. The CDMO unit provides analytical method development, process development and cGMP manufacturing of clinical-stage materials to early-stage biotechnology companies, works alongside a collaboration with Recipharm Israel, and is guided toward breakeven.
