IRIDEX Corporation is an ophthalmic medical-device company that develops, manufactures and markets laser-based systems, delivery devices and consumable procedure probes for the treatment of glaucoma and retinal diseases. Founded in 1989 and long headquartered in Mountain View, California, the company's intellectual property centers on its proprietary MicroPulse technology, a tissue-sparing, sub-threshold laser approach that delivers laser energy in short pulses with cooling intervals, alongside the Cyclo G6 glaucoma laser platform, the MicroPulse P3 delivery device and the G-Probe family of transscleral probes. The company completed the relocation of its manufacturing operations from Mountain View to San Jose, California in October 2026 as part of a cost-reduction programme.
