Imunon
Imunon is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing DNA-mediated immunotherapies and vaccines based on two non-viral delivery platforms, TheraPlas for coding proteins and cytokines and PlaCCine for coding viral antigens. Its lead programme is IMNN-001, a DNA-based immunotherapy encoding interleukin-12 that is in a Phase 3 trial for the localised treatment of advanced ovarian cancer, with IND-enabling work in colorectal and pancreatic cancer and discovery work in glioblastoma. A second programme, IMNN-101, is a COVID-19 booster vaccine that has completed Phase 1. The company was incorporated in 1982, was formerly known as Celsion Corporation, and took its current name in September 2022; it is headquartered in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and employs roughly 20 people. In September 2026 Imunon converted $1.2 million of debt to equity, lowering the outstanding balance of the original note by about 43% without issuing common stock or dilutive warrants.
