bioAffinity Technologies is a San Antonio-based diagnostics company focused on noninvasive, early-stage detection of lung cancer and other diseases of the lung. Its lead product, CyPath Lung, uses flow cytometry and AI to analyze sputum cell populations that change when cancer is present, detecting lung cancer as early as Stage 1A; the test is marketed as a laboratory developed test through Precision Pathology Laboratory Services, a subsidiary of the company. In 2026 the company initiated a large-scale longitudinal clinical study for CyPath Lung and launched a pilot study with Brooke Army Medical Center evaluating new tests for asthma and COPD.
