Arcus Biosciences is a late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing differentiated small molecules and antibody combinations for cancer and inflammatory disease. Its lead asset, casdatifan, is an HIF-2a inhibitor in the ARC-20 platform study in clear-cell renal cell carcinoma, where it is being evaluated across first-, second- and late-line settings both as monotherapy and combined with zimberelimab (an anti-PD-1 antibody) or cabozantinib. The pipeline also includes domvanalimab, an anti-TIGIT antibody in Phase 2 and Phase 3 lung and gastrointestinal cancer trials, quemliclustat, a CD73 inhibitor, AB598, a CD39 antibody, and AB801, an AXL inhibitor. Arcus runs clinical collaborations with AstraZeneca on the Phase 3 PACIFIC-8 study in Stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer and on a casdatifan plus volrustomig study in treatment-naive clear-cell renal cell carcinoma, with Bristol Myers Squibb on kidney-cancer regimens, and with BVF Partners on inflammatory-disease discovery. The company was incorporated in 2015, listed on the New York Stock Exchange in March 2018, and is based in Hayward, California.
